Perspective of Lebanese and Palestinian Documentary Cinema in Tehran
Sponsored by the Experimental and Documentary Film Center (EDFC), the festival intends to portray the oppression, campaigns and resistance and the great endeavors of the people of Palestine and Lebanon.
According to the head of EDFC, Mohammad Afarideh a total of 10 films have so far been submitted to the secretariat.
Concurrent with the Day of Solidarity with Palestinian Children (December 25), a special section is also to be held on the occasion.
Several guests from different countries are also expected to attend the program, added Afarideh.
Al-Alam TV channel, IRIB first TV channel, Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as Iran’s Cultural Office in Lebanon are due to cooperate with the center.
Afarideh also added that perspective of documentary cinema of Tunisia, the Netherlands and Italy are also among the future programs of the center.
